We are busy working away in County Clare, Ireland as we begin the Spring harvest of black Irish Peat. The peat we harvest is hand-cut and comes from the bottom layer of the bog. It is called black peat and is very dense. This peat requires lighting it with either a firestarter or kindling, yet burns easily on top of already lit logs.

Online Store Locator. As we expand the retail sites that carry Killofin Home products, ever careful to make sure that stores do not overlap each other and to maintain a solid friendship with our retailers, we have launched our online store locator on the Products page. JUNE  2012

Come see Killofin Home at the Irish Fair in Irvine this weekend.

Come on over to (The Big) Irish Fair in Oak Canyon Park (next to Irvine Lake) in Irvine, California this weekend to visit with the good folks of Killofin Home Irish Products, and enjoy a wide variety of Irish and Celtic entertainment, shopping and food!

We will be unveiling our brand new, custom-built tradeshow booth, made to look like an authentic old-syle Irish cottage. Artist/Master-Builder/Contractor Jim Sargeant really outdid himself this time in designing and building our fun booth.

We'll have some genuine Irish peat for sale, in individual 2-1/2lb. sacks (if you're new to the world of peat and want to try it as a starter "kit"). If you're a seasoned pro and are familiar with the wide variety of uses for Irish peat, then the 15-lb. box of loose peat that we will have for sale at the booth will be the perfect fit.

If you are unable to attend the festivities this weekend, but would still like to get yourself some Irish peat, please visit our store and get yourself some peat for the fireplace, the grill, the campfire, or for any other wide variety of uses for which it is known.
